Scope That Does Not Drift
Every Verdantia engagement is defined in writing before it begins. The scope is organisational and archival. When a question falls outside it, the coordinator says so and refers in writing. This boundary is the practice's most important feature.
Every Statement Has a Named Source
Monthly sessions present no general fact without naming the published document it comes from. Attendees receive a printed source list. This is unusual in informal educational settings and is a deliberate practice at Verdantia. Source list distributed in session
Originals Never Leave Without Permission
During indexing visits, original documents stay in the household. Scanning is done on site. If archival transport is needed, it is agreed in writing first. Families retain full control of their papers throughout.
Works Across Multiple Households
The nine-month coordination service was designed for precisely the situation where family papers are held in several homes and states. A named coordinator visits each household and consolidates everything into one index under an agreed naming scheme.
Large-Type Output for Older Readers
The printed index booklet is set in 18-point type. This is not a cosmetic detail. The people who hold most of a family's institutional memory are frequently older, and the booklet needs to be readable by the people who will use it most.
Referral Directory With No Commercial Tie
Where a family needs a solicitor, estate administrator, or financial planner, Verdantia provides a directory of qualified contacts. These are referrals, not partnerships. Verdantia receives nothing from the professionals listed.

Digital Care
Encrypted Copies, Deleted After the Engagement
Scanned items are saved using current file-encryption standards. Each named relative receives a separate, password-protected copy. Verdantia deletes all copies from its own systems once the engagement closes and confirms this deletion in writing. There is no ongoing storage of client materials.

Most families who come to Verdantia are managing bereavement alongside the practical tasks of estate administration. The pace of sessions and engagements is set by the family, not by Verdantia. There is no urgency in the communications, no sales pressure, and no suggestion that matters are more complicated than they are.

Pricing
Fixed Fees, Stated Before Any Work Begins
All three service types carry a fixed fee set out in the engagement letter before any work begins. There are no hourly rates, no expenses billed after the fact, and no adjustments for the complexity of what is found. The fee is the fee.
- Public session: RM 500 — no additional charges
- Document index: RM 1,540 — four appointments, all deliverables included
- Multi-household coordination: RM 4,500 — nine months, named coordinator

The deliverable from a Verdantia engagement is a written, organised index — not a conversation, not a memory, not a to-do list. A Source List You Take Home
The printed source list given to every session attendee is not a bibliography produced for display. It is a working tool — a list of the specific published documents and public bodies relevant to Malaysian estate paperwork, with enough detail to find each source independently. No similar document is produced by the public sessions we are aware of.
Referrals That Carry No Commercial Interest
Verdantia's referral directory of qualified professionals is compiled without payment or arrangement from any of the professionals listed. Families are told this explicitly. The directory exists because families need it; it is not a revenue source.
Written Custody Agreement in Long Engagements
The multi-household coordination includes a written custody agreement recording which household holds which original, what copies exist, and how future updates to the index will be handled. This document belongs to the family and has practical value independent of any ongoing relationship with Verdantia.
You Can Attend a Session and Stop There
The monthly session is a complete service in itself. Attending it carries no obligation to proceed with indexing or coordination. Some families find the session is all they need to take the next steps independently. Verdantia is comfortable with that outcome.
